How It Works

Gutters that protect your home.

1

Drainage Assessment

We evaluate your roofline, fascia condition, and existing drainage patterns. We measure the roof area draining to each gutter run to size downspouts correctly for Central Valley rain events.

2

Material & Style Selection

Choose from seamless aluminum, galvanized steel, or copper gutters in 5-inch or 6-inch profiles. We help you select the right material, color, and gutter guard option for your home and budget.

3

Precision Installation

Seamless gutters are formed on site from a single piece of metal, removing the joints where sectional gutters leak. We set proper slope for flow and secure every hanger to the fascia or rafter tails.

4

Water Test & Walkthrough

We flush the entire system with water to confirm proper flow, check every joint and end cap, and walk you through maintenance recommendations.

Gutter Options

Seamless, sectional, and protected.

We install every major gutter type. Here is how they compare for Central Valley homes.

Seamless Aluminum Gutters

Custom-formed on site to the exact length of each run. No seams means no leak points. Available in 30+ colors to match any home. The most popular choice for residential properties.

Sectional Gutters

Pre-formed sections joined on site. A more budget-friendly option that still provides solid drainage when properly sealed. Ideal for smaller projects or outbuildings.

Gutter Guards

Micro-mesh and surface-tension gutter guards keep leaves and debris out while allowing water through. Especially valuable for homes near trees. Reduces maintenance from twice a year to almost zero.

Downspout Sizing & Placement

Undersized or poorly placed downspouts cause overflow even with clean gutters. We calculate drainage area per downspout and position them to direct water away from your foundation.

When to Call

Signs you need new gutters.

Gutters fail gradually. These signs mean it is time for replacement, not just another patch.

Gutters pulling away from fascia

Sagging or detached gutters let water pour behind them, rotting fascia and soffit.

Visible rust or cracks

Corroded metal and cracked seams cannot be permanently repaired. Replacement is the fix.

Water pooling at foundation

If water collects near your foundation after rain, your gutters are not doing their job.

Multiple patched sections

If you have patched the same gutters more than twice, seamless replacement will cost less long-term.

Pair new gutters with a roof replacement to protect your home from top to bottom. Or start with a free roof inspection to assess your full drainage system.

Frequently asked

About gutter installation.

What gutter material lasts longest in the Central Valley?

Seamless aluminum is the best balance of cost, durability, and looks. Lasts 20–30 years, won't rust, available in 30+ colors color-matched to fascia. Copper lasts 50+ years but costs 4–5× more — usually only for premium homes.

Why seamless gutters?

Sectional gutters fail at every joint within 10 years. Seamless gutters are formed on-site to the exact length of each fascia run — only the corners and downspouts are joined, dramatically fewer failure points.

What does gutter installation cost?

Seamless aluminum: $8–$14 per linear foot installed. A typical single-story home (140 linear feet) runs $1,100–$2,000. Two-story homes or steep-pitch installs run higher due to access rules.

How big should my gutters be?

5-inch K-style is standard for most residential. 6-inch is suggested for homes with large roof catchment areas (over 2,500 sq ft of roof draining to one section), tile roofs, or properties. heavy tree cover.

Do you install gutter guards?

Yes — but only screen-style or fine-mesh stainless guards. Foam inserts and reverse-curve "no-clog" systems perform poorly in the Central Valley's mix of pollen, leaves, and shingle granules.

Can I add gutters during a re-roof?

Yes — and you should. Combining gutter install with a re-roof saves 15–20% vs separate jobs because we're already on-site with equipment. we can perfectly align the new gutters with the new fascia line.

A note from Mario

How we approach gutter installation.

A gutter system isn't gutters. It's the runs, the hangers, the downspout placement, and the splash-block strategy. We design the whole thing.

When You Need It

When to call us for gutter installation.

New gutter install is appropriate when existing gutters have failed beyond repair (rusted through, separated from fascia, sized incorrectly for roof area). When adding a new addition or remodeling. When upgrading from box-style or half-round to seamless aluminum, or when first-time install is needed on a home that lacks them.

Materials & Methods

Gutter Installation materials & systems we install.

Seamless aluminum gutters in K-style profile are the standard. We install them in 5-inch or 6-inch widths based on your roof drainage area. Aluminum is rust-proof. It’s available in 30+ baked-enamel colors. We custom-fabricate each run on-site to match your exact roof line. No seams except at corners.

Process & Timeline

What to expect — our gutter installation process.

Install projects start with a measurement and material order. We cut seamless gutters on-site with a portable forming machine. They install in steady runs — no seams between corners. Brackets are spaced every 24 inches and screwed into fascia, not nailed. Downspouts route water away from your foundation.

Cost Factors

Gutter Installation cost in California.

Seamless aluminum gutter install usually runs $8-$15 per linear foot. A typical 200-foot residential install costs $1,800-$3,200 including downspouts. Gutter guards add $5-$8/linear foot depending on system. Copper gutters run $25-$40/linear foot. Half-round profiles add 30-50% over K-style baseline.

What sets us apart

Why homeowners choose us for gutter installation.

The biggest difference between us and most other gutter installation contractors comes down to certification. Most local roofers can install the materials. Few can register the warranties that protect those installations for 25-50 years. As OC Platinum Preferred contractors — the top 1% of Owens Corning installers nationwide — we register Platinum Protection warranties that cover both materials and workmanship for life, non-prorated. As GAF Master Elite contractors — the top 2% of GAF installers — we register Golden Pledge warranties that cover 50 years of materials plus 25 years of workmanship. As CertainTeed Select ShingleMaster contractors, we register 5-Star Protection warranties that include 25 years of SureStart manufacturer-backed workmanship coverage. None of these are available through uncertified contractors.

The certifications are earned through years of training, install audits, and customer satisfaction tracking. Each manufacturer maintains the certification only if our install quality and review scores stay above their thresholds. We’ve held OC Platinum Preferred since 2008, GAF Master Elite for over a decade, and CertainTeed Select ShingleMaster certification continuously. The audits matter because they keep us honest. We can’t cut corners on material grade, install method, or finish quality — the manufacturers track every job we register.

The crew matters as much as the certifications. Our gutter installation crews are W-2 employees of Econo Roofing, not subcontractors. Each crew member completes annual factory training from GAF, Owens Corning, and CertainTeed. We invest in training because the difference between a 25-year roof and a 35-year roof comes down to install detail. Proper underlayment lap. Correct nail placement and depth. Sealed flashing. Adequate attic ventilation. None of these require special tools — just trained, supervised installers who care about the work. Mario Espindola personally reviews every project scope before work begins and walks the finished roof before the crew leaves.

We also stand by our work financially. We carry $1 million general liability insurance and full workers comp coverage. We’re bonded ($25,000 CSLB contractor bond). License #749551, verifiable at CSLB.ca.gov. We’re family-owned and operated since 1996 — same family, same standards, three regional brands (Econo Roofing in Delhi, Nushake Roofing in Ripon, DeHart Roofing in Turlock). We’re not going anywhere. If something goes wrong with your gutter installation project — even years later — we’re here to make it right. That permanence matters when you’re investing in 30-50 years of weatherproofing.

Pricing is flat-rate. We quote the project, you approve the project, and that’s the price. No change orders mid-project unless you change the scope. No surprise charges. No upselling once the crew is on the roof. Free written estimates with no obligation, available across all 52 cities we serve.
