Econo Roofing was founded in 1996 by Mario Espindola in Delhi, California. The original mission was simple: do the work right the first time. Three decades later, that’s still the operating principle. We’ve grown from a three-person crew with one truck to a 20-person team across three regional brands — Econo Roofing in Delhi, Nushake Roofing in Ripon, and DeHart Roofing in Turlock. Same family ownership, same crew standards, same focus on getting the install right the first time.

The credentials we hold aren’t marketing claims — they’re earned through years of training, install audits, and customer satisfaction tracking. Each manufacturer maintains our certification only if our quality stays above their thresholds. We’ve held Owens Corning Platinum Preferred status since 2008, GAF Master Elite for over a decade, and CertainTeed Select ShingleMaster certification continuously. The audits keep us honest. We can’t cut corners on material grade, install method, or finish quality — the manufacturers track every job we register. Econo Roofing is the only contractor in Stanislaus and Merced County to hold all four top-tier manufacturer credentials simultaneously.

We carry $1 million general liability insurance and full workers compensation coverage. We’re bonded ($25,000 CSLB contractor bond). License #749551, verifiable at CSLB.ca.gov. We’re family-owned and operated — the same family that started the business in 1996 still runs it. Mario personally reviews every project scope before work begins and inspects the finished roof before the crew leaves the site. We send copies of the warranty paperwork, photos of the completed work, and a written workmanship warranty from Econo Roofing to every customer.
