Contra Costa County stretches from the delta lowlands around Byron and Discovery Bay to the hillsides of Brentwood. The eastern portion of the county, where we serve, experiences true Central Valley summer heat. Brentwood regularly hits 100 degrees, while Byron and Discovery Bay add delta humidity and wind to that heat equation.
