Econo Roofing has been protecting homes and businesses across the Central Valley for over 30 years. We're based in Delhi, California, and we're not going anywhere.
Our Story
We started Econo Roofing in 1998 with a simple belief: that a roofing contractor should show up when they say they will, do the work correctly, and stand behind it. That sounds obvious. It shouldn't be hard. But in an industry with a reputation for shortcuts, no-shows, and fine-print warranties, it turned out to be a differentiator.

Two years ago, Nushake Roofing joined the Econo Roofing family, and three months ago, DeHart Roofing did the same. Both companies continue to operate under their own brands: backed by Econo's resources, manufacturer relationships, and 30 years of expertise. Our History
Mario Espindola starts Econo Roofing with a crew of three, a single truck, and a commitment to honest work at fair prices.
Earned our first certifications from Owens Corning and GAF, establishing Econo Roofing as a credentialed contractor in the Central Valley.
Added TPO, PVC, EPDM, and metal roofing systems for businesses, warehouses, churches, and schools across the region.
Achieved Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor status. The top 1% of roofing contractors nationwide. Still the only one in Stanislaus and Merced County.
Grew our service area to cover Stanislaus, Merced, San Joaquin, Tuolumne, Alameda, Calaveras, and Contra Costa Counties, 52 cities and counting.
Econo Roofing became the parent company of Nushake Roofing, expanding our family of companies across the Central Valley. Nushake continues to operate under its own name.
DeHart Roofing became part of the Econo Roofing family of companies. Like Nushake, DeHart continues to serve its customers under its own brand.
Our People
Every crew member at Econo Roofing is a Central Valley resident. Many have been with us for 10 years or more. They live in the same cities where they work: Modesto, Turlock, Merced, Ceres, Patterson. When they install a roof, they know there's a chance they'll drive past that house on the way home.
We invest in ongoing manufacturer training so every crew member is certified on the latest installation techniques from Owens Corning, GAF, and CertainTeed. Safety isn't optional. Econo Roofing isn't a franchise that dropped into the Central Valley. We were born here. Our founder grew up here. Our crews raise their families here. Yes. DeHart Roofing is owned by Econo Roofing and joined our family of companies in 2026. DeHart continues to operate under its own brand and serve its existing customers. Together, our family of companies is the largest locally-owned roofing operation in the Central Valley.
